Squee....ok I am totally fangirling over this book! Zane has always been my favorite so I was delighted this book was Zane's story! I read this book thoroughly twice before writing this review so I didn't miss anything and hopefully without giving to much away.So it starts with all the friends being in town for Zane's retirement party. They end up day by day listening to parts of the story. In 1988 Zane was paired up on a mission with a dark haired beauty. He was not prepared for a female and he doubted Faith's ability from the beginning. After a rocky start, they agreed to work with each other.
Zane and Faith head out to St. Petersburg with a cover story that they were an anerican couple coming to Russia so she could dance in a ballet. Things do not go as expected when they get there so they have to improvise and take control of the situation to get the indo they need.
Once they find the mark they are looking for, things go awry and Zane gets injured. Faith takes control of the situation and things go a little of course.
After captures, retrievals, and a battle, Zane and Faith have their mark and his family in a hotel, they are then put in a hotel by the airport and are expecting to fly home. Faith thinks she has a foolproof plan to get the mark and his family back to the states. Things dont go as planned though. Once back in the states, the two plan on a future together as civilians. That all ends when the CIA finds out that the mark was actually in the US and an organization had him that was loyal to noone, only the highest bidder. Trying to go in and extricate the mark, Zane and Faith get captured. Faith makes a life altering decision choosing between life and death of 2 innocent people. Before getting released, Markus Boyd was putting a plan in works to make Faith look like a traitor.
After a series of dreadful events, all the CIA cares about is having her eliminated. Zane must make a hard decision. After the task is complete Zane reevaluates his priorities.
Of course as Zane is telling his friends his story, Burt wants to learn more. He snoops around and what he finds is a twist that I didnt see coming!
So in my opinion, this is the best book yet! (Of course my love for Zane may have influenced that!) If you have read the previous books, you do not want to miss this one! If you have not had the pleasure of reading Mitchel Grace's books, this is an amazing series!

I have read ALL of Mitchel Grace's books this summer. This is the best yet. The story is woven well and the characters continue to be developed more and more. Was a great book...Keep up the good work.
I just finished this book a few days ago, and Mitchel Grace does not disappoint!!!! You cannot help but get caught up in the story! This series has been awesome to read, and I cannot wait to get started on the next one!!! )
I must agree with the previous reviewer. Although I loved the first three books in this series, this may have been my favorite so far. Of course, I said that about book three when I finished it, too. Zane is a most fascinating character, and his story is one that you just have to finish before you turn out the lights.
I thought Wrong Life was the best so far by this talented Author then....WOW! In Wrong Regrets, Zane takes center stage and he deserves every page. His troubled past is explored and I found myself getting seriously attached to this character! Same great Mitchel Grace writing, but with a maturing into his craft. Flawlessly edited, as all of his books are, and an all around great read!
I love the adventure mixed with the heart warming stories of friendship and love. I look forward to reading the next one!
